OPW has promoted Parrish Evans to the position of director of sales for its newly formed Retail Fueling business unit. Evans will report directly to Mike McCann, vice president and general manager – OPW Retail Fueling.
Parrish will be responsible for developing and leading the North America sales effort for OPW’s above ground and below ground product lines.
“Parrish brings a unique blend of sales leadership skills and industry experience to this mission-critical position,” stated McCann. “Having served as the eastern regional sales manager since early 2010, he has a proven track record and reputation for managing a highly effective sales team. We are very pleased that Parrish has accepted this new position. He is precisely the person we need to drive implementation of our new Retail Fueling growth initiatives.”
Parrish has 17 years of experience in the petroleum industry working with distributors, jobbers and convenience store companies. He joined OPW in 2004 as a district sales manager in the southeast region before being promoted to his current position as eastern regional sales manager in February 2010. Before joining OPW, Parrish worked for eight years with Hunt Refining in Tuscaloosa, Ala., as the southeastern sales and marketing representative.
Parrish is a 1993 graduate of The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Parrish will be based in Athens, Georgia.
