Mutual Oil Co. Inc., one of the largest wholesale petroleum distributors on the East Coast, has announced the appointment of Leonard “Lenny” Camporeale as the company’s Manager of Supply and Risk Management.

Camporeale will oversee Mutual Oil’s product purchasing and trading, hedging activities, and supply agreements with oil terminals. He is a veteran of the energy industry with nearly four decades of experience, most recently as an executive consultant in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan region.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lenny to the Mutual Oil family where he will be a true asset to our wholesale supply operations,” said Edward Rachins, President of Mutual Oil. “Lenny is known well throughout the industry and, because of his deep experience, possesses a keen understanding and worldly view of the energy business.”

Prior to joining Mutual Oil, Camporeale managed supply and risk for large energy companies including Hess Corp. and Total S.A. He also served as Vice President of Risk Management at Stuyvesant Fuel Service Corp. in the Bronx, New York.

Camporeale holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Manhattan College. He resides in New Jersey with his wife, Donna.
