New Jersey Natural Gas has selected Bennett Pump Company to provide CNG dispensers for their three new CNG fueling stations. The sites, currently under construction, are located in Middletown, Freehold and Toms River, N.J., and will be the first to open to the public in NJNG’s service territory.

The Bennett CNG dispenser is built on the proven Pacific Series retail line of traditional and alternative fuel dispensers, providing a familiar fueling experience. The new sites will showcase different options within the Bennett dispenser. Two locations will have standard-flow dispensers and one site will have four high-flow dispensers for Class 8 truck fueling.

“The Bennett CNG dispenser delivers a fast, safe, familiar fueling experience with all the features of a modern traditional fuel dispenser,” said James Collier, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bennett Pump Company. “We are very pleased that New Jersey Natural Gas chose Bennett and we are looking forward to working with them as they expand the use of compressed natural gas vehicles in New Jersey”.

The Bennett Pacific CNG dispenser integrates the same look, feel, and payment options as a traditional gasoline dispenser. The dispenser also comes equipped with a customer-friendly training module that provides a step-by-step guide to refueling a CNG vehicle. This gives consumers who are new to CNG a comfortable and confident fueling experience.

“We are excited to be teamed-up with Bennett on this project,” Said Bill Wells, Natural Gas Vehicle Consultant at NJNG. “Bennett has the different options we need for multiple locations, while providing the familiarity customers expect when refueling.”
