Guardian Fueling Technologies, a leading provider of innovative fuel system solutions and premier maintenance across the Southeastern United States, announced the launch of Guardian Connect – a cloud-based service solution that is the future of remote fuel system monitoring, performance management, diagnostics and maintenance.

Through their progressive 24/7/365 monitoring center, located in Tampa, Florida, Guardian Connect provides clients an array of connectivity solutions and services to enhance fuel system performance. Owners can expect increased up-time at sites via expedited remote diagnostics and a reduction to overall maintenance costs by resolving up to 30% of repairs remotely, without ever dispatching a technician to the site.

Joey Batchelor, President and CEO, commented on the launch, “Guardian has long striven to be the industry’s leading provider of rapid response and equipment maintenance for our valued clients. Understanding that our clients are in a business where fueling equipment up-time and their customer’s experience is paramount, Guardian Connect will have an immediate impact by providing notification when a piece of connected equipment is not performing, triggering expedited diagnostics and repair by a qualified remote technician. This ‘behind-the-scenes’ technology greatly reduces the negative customer fueling experiences caused by malfunctioning equipment, which often take days or weeks to report from the store level to a service provider. The Guardian Connect remote monitoring service can reduce this cycle from days to minutes often repairing fueling equipment before the customer knows it’s broken. We have conducted exhaustive testing of the new technology, currently connected to over 400 sites, and our clients are recognizing these significant cost-saving and performance improvements from partnering with Guardian Connect.”

Guardian Connect monitors real-time performance of connected equipment to ensure optimal performance for its clients, including up-to-the-minute information on flow-rates by nozzle, card reader and keypad status, receipt paper levels, electronic component error codes, dispenser security alarms, and enabled remote software downloads. Guardian Connect provides performance tracking and reporting for all connected equipment at intervals specified by each client. The technology being utilized by Guardian Connect allows connectivity to an array of fueling equipment such as dispensers, tank gauges, and point-of-sale devices. The next phase of Guardian Connect, already in beta testing, will include monitoring of other key store level systems that contribute to the retail customer’s overall experience.
