The Colorado Oil and Gas Association has filed a lawsuit against the city of Fort Collins following voters’ November approval of a five-year moratorium on hydraulic fracturing within the city, reports The Coloradoan.
The industry advocacy group also took legal action against Lafayette, where voters in November approved a ban on the controversial drilling process used for natural gas extraction, writes Ryan Maye Handy of The Coloradoan.
