Arrows Up, LLC, an affiliate of both OmniTRAX, Inc., one of the largest privately held transportation service companies in North America, and The Broe Group, was issued U.S. Patent No. 9,617,065 titled, “Bulk Material Shipping Container,” on April 11, 2017. The revolutionary patent covers the design, construction and usage of the Arrows Up Jumbo Bin, which helps shippers of frac sand and other bulk commodities store and transport their products more efficiently and effectively.

“This patent identifies Arrows Up as a true innovator in the logistics field, but more than that, it shows our determination to provide a solution that truly helps our customers manage and move their inventories better and safer than ever before,” said John Allegretti, Founder and CEO of Arrows Up. Allegretti is named as one of the inventors, along with Anthony Raso and Lyndon Just.

The Arrows Up Jumbo Bin holds up to 25 tons of frac sand or other material, and replaces significant storage and transportation infrastructure in the oil and gas and industrial supply chains. It also creates trucking and rail efficiencies, eliminates the need for dust suppression equipment, decreases product shrinkage by reducing the number of product transfers and can be moved by standard transportation equipment, enabling customers to control costs. Arrows Up bins can be used in a wide range of industries and are easily configured to address the needs of customers shipping a large range of granular commodities.

U.S. Patent No. 9,617,065 adds more intellectual property to Arrows Up’s portfolio, which also includes U.S. Patent Nos. 8,887,914 and 8,616,370. Additional patent applications on other inventive aspects of Arrows Up unique design are currently pending.
