Wayne Fueling Systems, a global provider of fuel dispensing, payment, automation, and control technologies for retail and commercial fuel stations has concluded their 2016 Technology Summit in Austin, Texas with positive attendee feedback.

The sold out event brought nearly 225 Wayne customers, distributors, suppliers and more to Wayne’s North America headquarter city.  Session topics included those relevant to the industry in North America including: Payment Security and EMV Readiness, Cloud-Based Technologies, the Future of Fuels and Connecting with the Customer.   Additionally, a “Partner Showcase” area allowed not only Wayne to display their latest products and solutions, but sponsors of the summit to exhibit and promote their technologies.

“If you’re not leading the way, you’re falling behind.  It’s just that simple,” said Wayne’s VP of North America, Bill Reichhold.  “For 125 years, Wayne has been leading the way with innovative fuel dispensing systems, products and technology for customers worldwide.  We’ve been an industry leader for a long time, and we plan to stay that way.  This summit was the perfect opportunity to show those in the industry just that.”

“The panel discussions very worthwhile. They brought together several important contributors, and field the questions that were on the audience’s minds,” noted Mark Gruggett of Kroger.  “The most beneficial parts of the summit were the learnings from the content and individual discussions with other attendees.”

Joe McHugh of Maryland Pump and Tank added, “Everything was great!”

Wayne intends to host two technology summits in 2017 – one in North America and another in Europe.
