Trillium CNG™, a business unit of Integrys Energy Group, Inc.  recently received the 2013 Clean Fuels Champion Award from the Chicago Area Clean Cities Coalition (CACC) for its commitment to improving Chicago’s air quality.

Since 2001, the CACC has annually presented the Clean Fuels Champion Award to a company or individual that has demonstrated superior leadership in improving Chicago’s air quality through alternative fuels sources; award recipients are selected by the coalition’s executive board.

 

“We are very pleased to be named champion by the Chicago Area Clean Cities Coalition,” said Charles Koontz, Vice President, Commercial Services for Trillium CNG. “Our goal is to provide a clean, safe and reliable compressed natural gas vehicle refueling infrastructure to help the Chicago area reach its goal of having clean fuel, clean air and being a clean city.”
