Texas TransEastern (TTE) received two Great West Safety Awards honoring its Pasadena and Waco/Bryan-Hearne terminals. Presented by the Texas Trucking Association and the Great West Casualty Company, in cooperation with the American Trucking Associations, the awards recognize outstanding achievement in highway safety.

The awards were presented at the annual Texas Trucking Association’s safety awards banquet, which was held August 4 in Bastrop, Texas. The Pasadena terminal was recognized for its excellent safety record in the Southeast Texas Division in the Local 5-10 Million Mile category. Waco and Bryan-Hearne were jointly honored in the Northeast Texas Division’s Local 1-5 Million Mile category.

“Congratulations to all of our employees, especially those in the Pasadena, Waco and Bryan-Hearne terminals for your contributions in promoting and furthering our safety culture,” remarked Steve Davis, Director of Safety. “We are grateful to be recognized for our continued focus on getting every driver home safely following each shift.”
