Through this relationship, the Florida-based gasoline distributor with convenience store and gasoline locations is able to meet and exceed the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), MegaPath said.

MegaPath enables each Sunshine Gas location to continuously monitor the broadband connection and seamlessly and instantly transition between wireline and wireless broadband in the event of a primary service outage. This capability ensures that no revenue is lost in the event of a disruption. Sunshine Gas Distributors is also leveraging MegaPath’s recent expansion of its 3G/4G wireless footprint and pooled-usage plans in locations not accessible by wireline access.
