Steve Baynham joins Husky Corporation as Quality Assurance Manager and Senior Metallurgist. Baynham will focus on improving process capabilities to make sure customers of Husky’s industry leading fuel dispensing equipment get maximum value for their investment.
Baynham is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt with expertise in techniques for process improvement. He also holds a Master’s of Science degree in Material Science Metallurgy from Washington University in St. Louis that will be used to ensure input sources for the company’s manufacturing processes are second to none.
“The focus is going to be on using Six Sigma methodology and tools to develop processes to yield even better products for our customers,” Baynham said.
“Quality has always been a key pillar for continuous improvement at Husky. We look forward to having Steve’s expertise help take our products to an even higher level of quality,” said Husky Executive Vice President Brad Baker. “One of his first duties will be to conduct a quality audit to get a full understanding of the company’s machine, assembly and testing process capabilities”
Before joining Husky Baynham served as Quality Assurance/Production Area Manager for Baldor Electric; Production Improvement Engineer/Quality Assurance Manager for O’Brien Corporation; and Product Engineering Manager at Watlow Electric.
