TransCanada Corp. said its 700,000 barrel per day Gulf Coast pipeline project is more than 90 percent complete and that the company expects the line to be in service by the end of 2013, according to a Reuters report.

Testing and commissioning activities were underway on the line, which runs from Cushing, Oklahoma, to Nederland, Texas, Reuters reported, citing a spokesman for TransCanada, Calgary, Alberta. The line is the southern leg of the contested Keystone XL project.
