Nearly 1,000 pipeline professionals from around the world are expected to attend the 9th annual Pipeline + Energy Expo, April 4 – 6, 2017, at the Cox Business Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Taking place at a critical time when the Trump administration is focusing on strengthening oil and gas pipeline operations, PennWell Corporation’s Pipeline Energy + Expo will highlight the trends, technology and solutions in pipeline construction, operations and integrity.

“The opportunities we have as an industry are based on the fact that pipelines are the safest, most economical and most environmental friendly way to transport hydrocarbons,” remarked Bob McGrew, CEO at T.D. Williamson. “Our industry is a backbone that enables almost everything in our modern way of life, but we have to operate in a way that is worthy of the trust that the public places in us. We must continually raise our game around safety and integrity, and at the same time make sure people understand the role our industry plays to enable the things they value and often take for granted in their daily lives.”

Produced by PennWell Corporation and hosted by PennEnergy, the Pipeline + Energy Expo will feature an impressive lineup of speakers addressing a variety of challenges currently facing the pipeline sector.

Attendees will have an unique opportunity to learn, network and exchange ideas on topics, trends and solutions needed to advance pipeline operations. The exhibition floor will showcase leading companies displaying new products, technologies and services, providing attendees with a highly interactive networking platform with VIPs in the oil and gas pipeline sector.

On Tuesday, April 4 at 5:00 pm, a networking cocktail reception will commence featuring a CEO Roundtable moderated by Oil & Gas Journal’s Chief Editor Bob Tippee. Key industry leaders including Bob McGrew, CEO, T.D. Williamson; Mike Mears, CEO, Magellan Midstream Partners; Staci Taruscio, CEO, Rebellion Energy; and Ed Wiegele, SVP and Oil and Gas Sector Director, TRC; will discuss hot topics affecting the pipeline industry.

A Keynote Session will kick off the conference and exhibition at 8:00 am on Wednesday, April 5 featuring Mark Wilmoth, CEO, PennWell Corporation; Bob Tippee, Chief Editor, Oil & Gas Journal; and Chad Warmington, President, Oklahoma Oil & Gas Association. Corey Goulet, Senior Vice President of Natural Gas Pipeline Major Projects, TransCanada will headline the Keynote Session. Mr. Goulet is accountable for TransCanada’s substantial portfolio of large-sized natural gas pipeline projects including Columbia growth, Mexico and liquified natural gas (LNG) projects. He served as the President of Keystone Pipeline projects from 2012 – 2015.

The conference program will continue with panel discussions and sessions covering such topics as U.S. capacity after the bust, regulatory, environmental and safety issues, construction and remediation issues and implications of recent pipeline mishaps. Other topics will include technology, cybersecurity, integrity and efficiencies and UAV technologies. The program will conclude with a lively session and discussion about “Making Pipe Dreams Reality,” where leaders and experts in the financial space will offer banking, tax and financing advice to small and large oil and gas business owners.

On-site registration will open on Monday, April 3 at 3:00 pm and will close on Thursday, April 6 at 3:30 pm. Visitors can network on the exhibition floor for $35 and attend the conference for $395 (lunch and professional development hours provided).
