Pilot Flying J, a leading  operator of travel centers and travel plazas in North America, will offer unique, interactive experiences for professional drivers and all attendees at the Mid-America Trucking show, March 27-29, in Louisville, Ky.

“We’re excited to attend the MATS expo this year,” said Anne LeZotte, Pilot Flying J communications manager. “We have a lot of fun activities planned for attendees, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to get their feedback, address any concerns they might have and answer their questions.”

Pilot Flying J activities include:

  • A 15-minute workout with Pilot Flying J’s Health Champion and NBC’s “Biggest Loser” Season 2 At-Home Winner, Pete Thomas. Pete invites drivers to participate in a short session of push-ups and squats every hour on the hour, as he demonstrates how they can exercise with minimal equipment while on the road.
  • Meet and greet with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Michael Annett. Annett will be onsite signing autographs and taking pictures on Thursday, March 27, from 2-3 p.m.
  • The Shell Rotella Road Show, a fully customized, mobile marketing truck, will be at the Pilot Travel Center located at 819 Buck Creek Road, Simpsonville, Ky., from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, March 27-28. The innovative Road Show features exciting displays and graphics supporting the Energized Protection™ campaign, including technology displays to assist truckers while on the road, such as iPads, smartphones and helpful apps, as well as the Million Mile Haul of Fame museum.

“We’re also excited for the chance to tell drivers about our new time-saving technologies, food and beverage offerings and facility upgrades,” LeZotte said.

Among other gifts, drivers will be able to swipe their MyRewards cards to receive free points. Pilot Flying J will be at booth number 12256 at the Mid-America Trucking Show from 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, through 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 29.
