Not having a gas station in town has been a hardship for residents of Memphis, Tenn., for a couple of years now, but it seems they may soon have two places offering fuel, reports The Voice.

Mayor Daniel Weaver announced on Facebook that Foster Oil has informed officials that it is ready to move forward with a plan to put in a station at Main and Potter streets, writes Barb Pert Templeton of The Voice. Foster Oil has requested a spot on the agenda for the Aug. 14 city Planning Commission meeting to get its site plan approved, Weaver said, according to news report.
