Leading global tank and fuel management company Leighton O’Brien today announced the appointment of Greg Salverson as Vice President, International Business Development to drive incremental growth of the company’s SIR (centralized wetstock monitoring) operations.

Salverson brings more than 10 years of business development, technology and project management experience working for Chevron-Texaco, Hewlett Packard and FuelQuest. He joins the company after 7 years at FuelQuest, an on-demand software and services company for the global downstream energy industry, where he was most recently Director of Business Development for the Asia Pacific region. In this role he was responsible for establishing partnerships within each target market and expand FuelQuest’s customer base in the Asia Pacific market.

He was also Director, Global Business Solutions at Fuelquest, where he was responsible for supporting the sales team in North America, Europe and the Middle East, aligning each clients strategic objectives with FuelQuest’s solutions.

At Leighton O’Brien Salverson will work closely with the Executive Management team to expand Leighton O’Brien’s services globally, with an initial focus in growing the company’s international SIRA business, establish global strategic alliances, enhance clients relationships, develop go to market strategies in priority markets and assist in new technology development.

Based in Houston, Texas, Salverson will start in the new role immediately.
