After celebrating 50 years of serving the South Florida fuel industry, Lank Oil Company has announced the appointment of Terrence “Ted” E. Linne as their new president.

Linne joined Lank Oil in 1997 and has worked in multiple progressive roles, including fuel distributor, warehouse manager, general manager, executive vice president and now, president. In this new role, he will oversee all aspects of the company’s marine, construction and retail fuel distribution operations in five South Florida counties, including Martin, Palm Beach, Broward Miami-Dade and Monroe. In addition to his role as President of Lank Oil Company, Linne is active with various community and industry-related organizations, including the board of directors for the Florida Petroleum Marketers’ Association and The Boy Scouts of America.

“I am very proud to pass this long-standing honor of leading this team to Ted. He is not only my nephew, he is the future of Lank Oil,” said William C. Lank Jr., former president and founding board member.

Founded in 1965, Lank Oil Company began as a consignee of CITGO. In 1972, Lank Oil Company incorporated with William C. Lank, Sr., Mary G. Lank and William C. Lank, Jr. as the initial management team. In 2001, Lank Oil Company entered into an agreement with Diversified Oil Company to obtain its fuel distribution operations in three South Florida counties. Since then, they have expanded their fuel distribution operations in five South Florida counties. Lank Oil is a retail, construction, marine, generator and fleet fuel distributor in South Florida.
