Dana Langley Birdsong has joined NACS as its political relations director.
Birdsong comes to NACS after several years of running her own consulting business working with former members of Congress, federal candidates and nonprofits on fund-raising and grassroots initiatives. Prior to consulting she was director for advocacy, grassroots & political action committee development at the American College of Cardiology. Earlier in her career, she also served in advocacy roles at United States Telecom Association, MCI WorldCom, Inc. and CTIA – The Wireless Association.
Birdsong earned a BA in psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
