In the wake of the Philippine’s Super Typhoon Haiyan, the international Fuel Relief Fund provided $160,000 worth of free fuel to help stabilize the crisis and save lives, reports the Mount Shasta Herald.

Cross Petroleum co-owner Jimm Cross Jr. lends his fuel management expertise, leadership, and fundraising skills as a volunteer on the Fuel Relief Fund Board executive committee.

The Fuel Relief Fund is made up of volunteers worldwide in the fuel and transportation industry and operates with no paid staff. Fuel is supplied to hospitals, schools, orphanages, fire stations, police stations, and charities providing aid to communities.
