Advanced Digital Data, Inc. (ADD Systems), a leading supplier of software solutions to the energy distribution industry, is proud to announce a new hardware option for their Raven® mobile delivery solution. Raven is now available on the non-rugged Microsoft Surface Go tablet, in addition to the Panasonic Toughpad ruggedized device.

Raven on the Microsoft Surface Go is the result of ADD Systems’ efforts to provide a lower upfront cost to companies eager to reap the benefits of their proven Raven solution. John Coyle, Vice President of Sales for ADD Systems, said, “We’re excited to be able to offer both a non-rugged and rugged option for our Raven product. Now, Raven users can decide for themselves what is right for their particular environment. While we are believers in rugged devices, we know customers are looking for alternatives as consumer grade devices become more capable in the business environment.”

ADD believes this new hardware option will mean more companies can make use of the recent powerful Raven enhancements designed with efficiency top-of-mind. ADD’s mobile development team has introduced many advanced features, including cylinder exchange and cage tracking; QR asset tagging; wholesale BOL and order tracking; and the recently introduced Raven Companion and Raven Fleet Fueler android devices, which easily put the same functionality in the drivers hand, outside of the cab.

Bruce C. Bott, President of ADD Systems, is committed to developing products that offer exceptional efficiency. He shared, “ADD Systems knows that delivery is the heart of the business for many of our clients, and Raven on the Surface Go answers a call for a high-quality product with a lower cost of entry than a traditional rugged device. We’re pleased to provide this option and are confident that it will help more clients use Raven to reach new heights in both efficiency and customer experience.”
