On the car wash side, PDQ’s Tandem Surfline soft touch in-bay automatic vehicle wash system provides the customer with an exceptional wash experience incorporating an overhead design that creates a wide-open, easy-to-use wash bay.

PDI’s enterprise solutions are long-established in the convenience store and fuel marketer industry, and the technology undergoes a continuous evolution. One area focused on at the show was PDI Workforce which allows the convenience store operator to better manage its most important asset—its employees. Its Labor Scheduler component makes it easy to create schedules in an intuitive drag-and-drop environment. This allows for precise labor allocation using POS transactional data, and to accurately track hours to minimize overtime.

Peak Commercial and Industrial showcased a range of its BlueDEF solutions. The DEF Station Tank Systems have capacities of 396, 660 and 1320 gallons of DEF fluid. Each DEF Station has everything required to ensure the capability to store and pump DEF. They come fully equipped with a pump and filtration system, and feature pre-installed tank fittings and venting components needed to maintain diesel exhaust fluid purity.

Petroleum Parts Incorporated displayed its PPI G6 outdoor payment terminal. This provides retailers a mechanism to seamlessly upgrade a range of dispensers to EMV compliance. Key features include contactless payment, data security and easy installation. It’s media ready and has a 2-D barcode scanner for loyalty programs.

Pinnacle Corporation highlighted its Affinity Mobile Solutions. One component, the Affiniti™ Mobile Consumer App provides an opportunity for retailers to more easily gather and share information with potential consumers. Consumers that download the mobile app start delivering information the moment the consumer opens the app for the first time. The app allows for marketing, loyalty program integration, store location, gas prices and mobile payments.

Power Integrity’s Petroleum Control System + Low Voltage, or PCS+LV, is a standardized solution that combines fuel controls for both AC power and low voltage circuits in a single enclosure providing space and installation labor savings.

Price Advantage continues to expand the capabilities in its fuel price management modeling software. Highlighted at the show was the new predictive modeling module that utilizes big data and machine learning to better predict customer tolerance for price increases and competitor movement. That allows the operator to optimize prices and market position.

PT Coupling presented its new PT Hose Tool. It works by using two leverage arms to expand the tool’s teeth. The teeth then grip the house and effortlessly pull it over the shank. It’s portable and does not require heating the hose or the use of sledgehammers. There is no chance of damaging the fitting being inserted.

RMD Industrial Electronics, Inc., in addition to showcasing its usual range of quality remanufactured petroleum and car wash equipment, highlighted its aftermarket replacement Gilbarco Encore S PPUs.
