As extreme cold weather settled over Atlanta, Suburban Propane stepped in to partner with NASCAR and Atlanta Motor Speedway to ensure the garages stayed warm and that stock cars operated at their peak performance for the races this past weekend.
Suburban Propane’s expertise and reliable propane solutions were critical in maintaining a stable environment for both the team garages and the race cars, which requires precise temperature control to perform optimally in high-stakes conditions.
“We are proud to be part of the team that helps keep the engines running smoothly, even in the harshest conditions,” said Nandini Sankara, spokesperson for Suburban Propane. “Our partnership with NASCAR and Atlanta Motor Speedway allowed us to provide reliable propane heating solutions to ensure that the teams and drivers could focus on what they do best—competing. When the temperatures drop, Suburban Propane is ready to rise to the occasion.”
“We are incredibly grateful to Suburban Propane for stepping up during unusually cold weather at Atlanta and providing creative heating options for the NASCAR garages,” said Steve Swift, senior vice president of operations and development for Speedway Motorsports. “Their quick response to support us ensured that the race teams had the right environment to prepare the race cars for competition. In the midst of a challenge, our partnership proved invaluable and made sure the show went on for both the fans in the grandstands and the television audience.”
With Suburban Propane’s support, NASCAR teams were able to avoid potential delays or issues, ensuring this weekend’s races went off without a hitch despite the frigid temperatures.
