In this newly created role, Ziv is responsible for developing solutions for and driving the integration of TruAge with key point-of-sale vendors across all retail channels. In addition, he oversees all retailer and customer technical support.
TruAge is an advanced digital age-verification system designed to make the purchase of age-restricted products safer, smarter and faster. One-time-use digital tokens are used to share only the most important elements to protect customers’ privacy and confirm the purchaser is of legal age: birthdate, driver’s license number, issuing state and expiration date. Its goal is to ensure age verification is more accurate, efficient and secure at all points of sale—reducing liability and risk for retailers and their employees, while keeping age-restricted products out of the hands of minors. Developed by NACS, the global trade association representing the convenience and fuel retailing industry, and Conexxus—its standards-setting partner—TruAge transforms the traditional carding experience at checkout. The age-verification program is free to retailers, consumers and point-of-sale (POS) providers to ensure accessibility and support the program’s wide adoption.
Most recently, Ziv served as vice president of information technology for AnswerNet, overseeing a 100-person team that was responsible for software development and innovation, programming, infrastructure, quality assurance and business process outsourcing. He also served in multiple leadership roles at March of Dimes, including as vice president and associate chief operating officer. Ziv also has industry experience, previously serving as senior network administrator at RaceTrac Inc.
Ziv earned a B.S. in business administration & management from Kennesaw State University.
