At the 2014 NACS Show, P97 Networks, developers of PetroZone®, a cloud based mobile commerce and digital marketing platform for the convenience and fuel retailing industry, and Allied Electronics, a leading developer of open standards based forecourt device controllers, announced that Allied’s NeXGen has been certified with the PetroZone Fuels Module and Point-of-Sale system powered by Microsoft Dynamics® AX. The partnership includes bi-lateral certification of interfaces and collaboration to accelerate mobile commerce deployments with oil companies and retail merchant customers.

“Our partnership with P97 Networks has really taken off. Retail fuel customers want open systems with low total cost of ownership that are easy to integrate and P97 is a pacesetter with PetroZone,” said Jack Dickinson, Manager of Engineering and Development at Allied Electronics. “P97’s work with Microsoft to ready Dynamics AX for oil companies for convenience and retail fuel merchants allows for rapid and seamless deployment with both our NeXGen and the new AEGIS forecourt controllers.”

“The Allied team is well known for their forecourt control technology and track record and implementation of industry standards based interfaces published by Conexxus (formerly PCATS) and the International Forecourt Standards Forum (IFSF),” commented Donald Frieden, President and CEO of P97 Networks. “Certification of the PetroZone Retail Fuels Module for Microsoft Dynamics AX with Allied’s NeXGen and AEGIS site controllers ensures our mutual customers achieve project success and gain competitive advantage from the integration of our innovative technologies.”
