ExxonMobil is spotlighting Mobil 1™ brand loyalists and their anything-but-normal drives in the “Our Normal Drives” digital video series – showcasing passion and performance stories from Mobil 1 loyalists, partners, specialty car builders and NASCAR-related specialists. Now, ExxonMobil is asking fans of the Mobil 1 brand to share their “normal” drive stories on social media.
Starting today, consumers whose day-to-day driving experiences transcend the regular commute – and demand a high-performance motor oil – will have the opportunity to share their Mobil 1 motor oil performance stories on the Mobil 1 Twitter and Facebook pages. By tagging their posts with both the #Mobil1Performance and #Sweepstakes hashtags, consumers will be automatically entered for a chance to win Mobil 1 products. For example, participants can share a social post such as, “My normal drive is a daily 120-mile journey through the Smoky Mountains’ steep, winding roads. #Mobil1Performance #Sweepstakes”; or, “I drive a tow truck through stop-and-go traffic and weather extremes, all while pulling heavy loads. #Mobil1Performance #Sweepstakes.”
Each month, two winners will be selected at random. One first place winner will receive 24 quarts of Mobil 1 motor oil, and one second place winner will receive two pieces of Mobil 1 branded merchandise.
“Mobil 1 technology offers the ultimate engine protection for different vehicles and driving conditions,” said Herbert Steurer, passenger vehicle lubricants brand manager for ExxonMobil Fuels & Lubricants. “That’s why ExxonMobil is highlighting Mobil 1 motor oil’s performance by celebrating the passionate and loyal Mobil 1 enthusiasts whose lifestyles and professions consistently require them to push their engines beyond what are considered ‘normal’ driving experiences.”
The “Our Normal Drives” sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who have reached the age of majority in his or her state, or territory of residence at time of entry. A full list of official rules can be found athttp://mobil.co/2czD5ta.
