The Automatic Refueling System (ARS) being developed by Husky Corporation and Sweden’s Fuelmatics Systems AB is featured in Bloomberg Businessweek magazine’s “Innovation” section.

Reporter Caroline Winter uses illustrations to describe how the robotic ARS system “uses an automated pump that uses visual sensors to locate a car’s fuel door and can add gas without the driver leaving the vehicle.”

“We are delighted to share this innovation with Bloomberg Businessweek’s national and international readers,” said Husky Corporation Executive Vice President Brad Baker. “In this collaborative venture Husky developed the flexible nozzle and automatic shut-off systems that complement the robotics technology provided by Fuelmatics.”

The ARS is an attractive option for high-volume fuel retailers. It also offers advantages for marketers seeking to stand out in locations where fueling stations are highly concentrated by offering a unique refueling experience, speed, and value.

Husky Corporation is headquartered in Pacific, Missouri.
