Solberg_JeffGROWMARK chief executive officer Jeff Solberg, Bloomington, Il, has announced his retirement effective Sept. 15, 2014.

Solberg joined GROWMARK in 1976 and has held many leadership positions, including Senior Vice President, Finance, Vice President, Finance, and Treasurer. He was named CEO in November 2010 and assumed the CEO duties in January 2011.

Solberg is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington and received his MBA from the University of Illinois. He has served on the board of directors for several organizations and financial institutions and currently sits on the boards of several GROWMARK subsidiaries.

Jim Spradlin, Morton, Il., will replace Solberg as GROWMARK CEO.
