DM2 Software, Inc., a leading provider of software solutions for petroleum marketers, is pleased to announce the release of Petroleum Insights ERP 2018. A Sage Software Development Partner and Reseller since 1991, DM2’s Sage 100-based Petroleum Insights ERP 2018 system capitalizes on the latest features and connected services available on the newly introduced Sage 100cloud platform. This new platform gives DM2 customers the ability to preserve their investments in on-premise
software while taking advantage of all the new cloud-based connected services and subscription-based options offered by Sage Software and Sage’s extensive network of eco-system partners—such as Sage Inventory Advisor, Avalara ExciseRates and Paya Credit Card Processing.

“Our 2018 release continues to build on Sage’s new Business Object Framework programming,” said Chris Lemonier, DM2’s Vice President of Technology. “As a testimonial to the benefits of developing on the Sage 100cloud-platform and Framework architecture, our customers are already starting to see faster upgrade and development turnaround times, lowering their Total Cost of Ownership over the life of their system.”

Due to these platform improvements, DM2 is now giving customers the choice of continuing to use traditional perpetual license applications or converting to a new Subscription-based model that includes support and maintenance as well as the Professional Services required to perform standard system upgrades every other year. In addition to giving Petroleum Insights ERP access to these cloud-based connected services and subscription options, the 2018 release includes over 100 new petroleum market-specific features developed by DM2’s in-house staff of U.S.-based programmers, like Advanced Margin Management, Consignment Management, and dozens of other new features designed to support multiple fleet cards and processors. To help customers take advantage of this new platform, features, subscription options and learn more about DM2’s transformation to the cloud, DM2 is inviting customers to attend its Connections 2018 user conference near its headquarters in Vancouver, WA July 16-18, 2018.
