Nearly 300 CITGO light oils and lubricants marketers will gather in Orlando, Fla., Oct. 7-9 for the Citgo Marketer Meeting to learn plans for the brand in 2014 and beyond.

“Bringing the CITGO family together again is a great opportunity to celebrate and share our plans for the brand,” said Gustavo Velásquez, vice president of supply and marketing. “We are working very hard to develop programs and offerings that our marketers can utilize to create more value for their business, and this is the perfect forum to discuss how we can help our marketers take advantage of them.”

In addition to the brand related presentations, attendees will hear from other members of the Citgo management team in the areas of refining, supply, safety and environmental performance, social responsibility, financial performance and the overall corporate vision. Two keynote speakers will also address marketers.

“As we discuss plans for the exciting future ahead, we will also re-emphasize our commitment to meeting the needs of the local marketers and retailers – the people who serve as the face of the CITGO brand every day in their local communities,” continued Velásquez. “We know they face many different challenges, but we stand ready with the tools they need to help them achieve success for their business and the brand that we share.”
