Canada’s Natural Resources Minister said his nation wants to work with the U.S. to cut greenhouse-gas emissions, including those from Alberta’s oil sands, the source of crude to be carried by the Keystone XL pipeline, reports Bloomberg News.

Canada is pursuing policies to reduce carbon-dioxide emissions from using oil sands to the same level as gasoline refined from traditional crude, Minister Joe Oliver said, according to a Bloomberg News article by Mark Drajem.
