Attendance for the 2015 Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo increased 5.4%, included presence from 14 states across the nation, and attracted visitors from Nigeria and the Virgin Islands. The 2015 Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo, which took place May 6-8 at the Omni Hotel and Fort Worth Convention Center, welcomed 70 first time exhibitors and showcased new products and services from 20 companies. Booth totals reached 340, a 12% increase and the most recorded since the Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo was re-branded in 2012. In addition, 27 companies showed their support as event sponsors.
This year’s schedule featured an opening session, 6 special events, 7 educational sessions, 8.5 exhibit hours, and countless networking opportunities. The educational sessions drew 377 attendees, averaging 54 attendees per session.
Social media played a major role in engaging attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors at the 2015 Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo. Using the ‘SWExpo15’ hashtag, 140 posts generated over 10,000 impressions on Twitter and Instagram.
New this year to the Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo, the “Tour of Texas: Convenience Store Coverage from the Lone Star State” video presentation, captivated audience members and featured retailers for their state-of-the-art design and unique business models.

At the conclusion of the 2015 Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo, leftover products from exhibitors were donated to the Little Hands, Big hearts organization which provides food and social services to Fort Worth residents in need.
