Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) producer Blue Sky has announced a partnership with Minnesota-based distributor NuWay Cooperative, to bring its Blue Sky DEF brand to the state for the first time.
Blue Sky DEF has been added to NuWay’s existing product portfolio of fuel and crop nutrients and will be available in a number of delivery sizes including 2.5 gallon jugs, 55 gallon drums and 275 gallon totes. DEF will be distributed in a 75-mile radius of the distributor’s base in Trimont, MN and the company is also in the process of building a facility that will house a new bulk tank later in 2014.
In line with the expansion of Blue Sky’s distributor network, the company has announced it is currently undergoing an entire re-brand which will include a new company logo which will appear on packaging designs on products, advertising and truck graphics. Furthermore the company is re-vamping its website to include a DEF blog which will provide industry news, as well as a DEF calculator to help customers determine their DEF requirements. The website, which is due to go live in August 2014, is designed to be accessible on multiple devices including smartphones, tablets and PCs.
