Stella Gaytan, CEO of woman-owned Bell Fuels announced the CEO FOR A DAY initiative, an open invitation for next-generation high school, college, and early stage career professionals to gain exposure to executive leadership in a male dominated industry.

Stella said “The importance of this is not only to authenticate the CEO experience but to help teach an important lesson about leadership. As a female CEO of a woman-owned business, it is especially important for me to remind the next generation women leaders just how much they bring to the table in business and leadership in all industries. Applicants and nominees will gain valuable “behind the curtain” insights into executive level decision making skills and exposure to the breadth of important inner workings of successful business.”

Individuals who apply or are nominated by their peers will be considered to become the CEO FOR A DAY of Bell Fuels which includes:

  • A private tour of the headquarters and operational overview from Stella
  • Meetings with department heads
  • A lunch-and-learn on the inner workings of business
  • Sit in one of Bell Fuels newest fleet trucks (photo op)

Requirements and instructions are as follows:

  • Individuals may apply or nominate their peers via THIS FORM
  • THE APPLICATIONS/ NOMINATIONS DEADLINE is May 20th, 2024
    • Submissions are due May 20th
    • Candidates will be made aware week of May 27th
  • CEO for a day will take place from 9:00am-5:00pm Friday, June 7th

  • The SUBMISSION FORM will ask applicants and nominees for:
    • (1) Current academic or employment status (student, school, employed, graduation year, etc.)
    • (2) Your interest in Executive Level leadership, and
    • (3) How you would define your leadership style. (appx 50-75 words)
  • Candidates must identify as a next generation female leader – all ages are welcome
