API Statement on Confirmation of Sean Duffy as Transportation Secretary

American Petroleum Institute (API) President and CEO Mike Sommers issued the following statement on the Senate’s confirmation of former Congressman Sean Duffy to lead the U.S. Department of Transportation. 

“Secretary Sean Duffy has a record of advancing commonsense policies in Congress, and we are confident he will take the same approach to the Department of Transportation. We look forward to working with him to reverse heavy-handed mandates and ensure safe, reliable infrastructure to help drive the American economy.”
