Advanced Digital Data, Inc. (ADD Systems®), a leading supplier of software solutions to the energy distribution industry, held its largest user conference ever this May at the Disney World Boardwalk Resort in Florida. The 2017 Business Tech Conference had record attendance with 250 people from more than 100 companies. This made for an exceptional opportunity for attendees to network, share best practices, learn about the latest ADD software, meet with vendors and have fun.

The event kicked off with record attendance at the ADD User Group (AUG) meeting, a group of ADD clients that meets regularly to share best practices and help determine ADD product development direction. Rob Culbertson, COO and Senior Vice President of ADD Systems, shared that “the enthusiasm at the conference made it clear that our clients find great value in being part of this group. Both the AUG and ADD Systems see tremendous benefit in the group helping to steer our product development.”

The next two days brought a variety of sessions about software announcements, client best practices, new products and vendor partner applications. Topics like ADD Energy E3® enhancements, Raven® Mobility Updates and best practices, the new Raven Companion™ announcement and the new Raven Fleet Fueler™ were among the popular sessions. In addition, ADD Systems provided Ask-the-Expert stations, where clients had a chance to initiate individual discussions with ADD’s software and industry specialists.

The event also provided multiple opportunities to visit with the 19 vendor partners attending the conference. Exhibitor tables were available during every break and partners participated in and sponsored all the events.

Of course, the attendees and their families also had a chance to enjoy some fun during the conference. ADD Systems intentionally chose the Disney World venue because it is a world-class family destination. The parks are always popular and there were plenty of ADD social events as well, including three evenings of good food and entertainment.

Bruce C. Bott, President of ADD Systems, summed up the show by saying, “ADD Systems knows that there is nothing more important than our relationship with our clients. This conference was our opportunity to show them our commitment and provide them with real value.” ADD Systems looks forward to its next user conference.
