The Texas Food & Fuel Association will host the 2014 Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo at the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Grapevine, Texas, May 13 – 15.  Now in its third year, the Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo is the region’s preeminent event for the petroleum marketing, convenience retail, and grocery industries.

All exhibit booths for the 2014 Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo have been sold.  Complementing the robust sale of exhibit booths, pre-registered attendance has also increased by 15%.  “Our organization is pleased with the continued positive responses we are receiving from the changes undertaken to improve, evolve, and grow the Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo” remarked Eddie Bates, Chairman of the Texas Food & Fuel Association.

Although Texas leads the nation with the most number of convenience stores, the region surrounding Texas includes an additional 8,000 convenience stores.  The Southwest region of the United States, including Texas, continues to be cited by researchers as one of the country’s fastest growing areas.

“The Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo is the most effective way for companies to learn more about this dynamic market and build upon their current market opportunities” added Bates.

The Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo includes not only a trade show, but also the region’s largest gathering of persons and companies engaged in the petroleum marketing and convenience retailing industries.  “The value of the event’s networking opportunities are continually highlighted by both attendees and exhibitors” noted Chris Newton, President of the Texas Food & Fuel Association.

Three dynamic educational sessions will be offered: an overview of key metrics for Texas’ convenience retail market, cost effective transportation technologies, and identifying the best approach to food service operations.

In addition to an array of industry-leading educational sessions, the Southwest Fuel & Convenience Expo will include networking receptions, cash and prize giveaways, and a golf tournament at the world’s first NFL-themed golf course, the Cowboys Golf Club.

Companies interested in sponsorship opportunities, exhibiting, or advertising are encouraged to contact the Texas Food & Fuel Association.  “A great way for our sponsors, exhibitors, and advertisers to gain visibility, stimulate sales, and increase brand loyalty is through one of our many [and new] branding opportunities,” Newton said.
