The Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America will conduct an Ethics and Management Masters Program on Feb. 25-26, 2015, at the Mondrian South Beach Hotel in South Beach, Florida. The program will not only educate outstanding managers capable of administering and maintaining the highest standards of an existing organization, but it will also create ethical leaders who are capable of developing and implementing new ideas and business concepts while enacting responsible ethical values.

The day-and-a-half-long program will feature presentations, interactive exercises, and timely discussions. Topics covered during the program include “Building Accountability in Your Organization,” which will explain how accountability can be developed and enhanced in the business, as well as expectations, consequences, and rewards; “Leading Up Effectively and Ethically,” which will identify the myths and challenges of leading from the middle, and provide techniques to become more valuable to your organization; “Dealing with Multigenerational Employees,” which will outline effective strategies for conveying messages to different generations and focus on instilling and sustaining ethical practices among employees; and “Organizational Culture and Ethics,” which will focus on building and maintaining a culture within your organization to enable your business to thrive during economic uncertainty and workforce and leadership changes.

The program will be led by three notable experts in the field of management and ethics. Ron Reece, PhD. delivers strong insights for understanding human motivation, interpersonal relationships, and organizational effectiveness. Reece’s consultation with closely-held businesses helps them deal with the unique aspects of close relationships, business demands, generational transitions and change management issues. In addition, Laurie Lyte and Brendan Ruane, both attorneys, bring more than 25 years of extensive knowledge and expertise in the areas of ethics, organizational culture and resiliency. Lyte and Ruane have led more than 200 professional development programs for both the public and private sector.
